Ecclesiastical Endorsement

Every applicant must have an Ecclesiastical (religious) Endorsement, which requires two separate interviews. Endorsement interviews are requested online at: endorse.byu.edu.

If you are a member of the LDS Church, you need to be interviewed by your bishop and stake president through the BYU endorsement system.

If you are a not a LDS Church member, you can choose to have your first interview with either your own church leader or with a LDS bishop in your area. Your second interview will need to be conducted by the BYU Chaplain who will contact you once the first interview has been received by BYU.
