How to Apply

1. Create a BYU Net ID

A Net ID is a user name that you will use to access web resources. Please create a Net ID before proceeding. After obtaining your Net ID, please return to this page.

2. BYU Honor Code and Ecclesiastical Endorsement

Every student must agree to the BYU Honor Code and obtain an Ecclesiastical (religious) Endorsement. Instructions for requesting an Ecclesiastical Endorsement

3. Complete an Application

Click "Apply Now" below to complete the online application. In the application applicants will be required to upload their high school and/or college transcript showing three years of grades and their diploma.

The wait time to get a student visa appointment varies by country. We recommend applying early to have sufficient time to schedule your student visa appointment.

4. Pay the $50 Application Fee

After submitting the online application, applicants will be sent an email with a link to pay the $50 non-refundable application fee.

Additional Information

After completing the listed the admissions committee will review the application, and students will be notified once an admission decision has been made. Instructions to accepted students regarding paying tuition and obtaining a Student Visa will be emailed with the acceptance email.

Students must be 18 years of age by the first day of the semester to apply and have graduated from high school (or the equivalent of 12th grade in the US) by the application deadline. Applicants who will turn 18 during their first semester may request an exception in the application.
