Friday Test Instructions for Teachers

Please read the following instructions for creating and scheduling tests on Fridays.

  1. By 5:00 PM WEDNESDAY before your Friday test, you must:
    • Fill out the Test Reservation
    • If you do not complete the reservation by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, we will not administer you test and you will need to schedule it for another week or do it online.
  2. When creating your test on Canvas:

      • Include passcodes so that the students have to be present in the computer lab to take the test.

      • If you are doing a timed test, also include a time limit.
    • In your class, before the Friday test:
      • Review the Testing Center Rules with your Students.
    • After the test is administered on Friday:
      • You will receive an email stating which student from your class came to the testing center for the test and if an issues cam up with any of your students.
        • If a student took the test but is not on the list, it means they took the test at home instead of in a proctored environment, which counts as cheating. If a student has cheated, notify Mrs. Sandy and give the student a 0 on the assessment.
      • If a student misses a Friday test, we have a testing room in the lab that you could schedule through me for students to make up tests, or you could make a reservation for the lab the following Friday.
