SUU has adopted the same LAT admission criteria as Ensign College.
Southern Utah University has approved the use of English Language Center Level Achievement tests to show evidence of English proficiency for admittance to their school. This follows Brigham Young University and Ensign college's decision to pilot the use of LAT scores in place of the TOEFL and other English proficiency tests. SUU has the same requirements as Ensign College: three scores at Advanced Low—including Writing--and one at Intermediate High.
